The Fayette County Chamber of Commerce exists for business, regardless of size or type, and serves as a spokesperson for the community. The Chamber also promotes the image, the retention and expansion of existing businesses, economic vitality and well-planned growth.

     The Fayette County Chamber of Commerce has standing committees that constantly work to improve our community. As a Member you are welcome to be part of the committee work force of the Chamber. These committees and their purpose are:

• Membership/Public Relations Committee ~ to conduct membership projects and promotions that will benefit the Chamber.
• Community/Economic Development Committee ~ to promote the area, and establish Fayette County as a quality place to live and start a business.
• Political Information/Legislative Reform Committee ~ to educate the members of current political and legislative issues that affect business and the community at large.
• Education Committee ~ to forge a meaningful alliance between the educational and business communities.
• Bridge Day Committee ~ to promote and coordinate the largest single-day festival in West Virginia.
